SUP The Creek – Technical Race

The last SUP The Creek Technical race was back in 2019, it was our first year hosting the Tech race alongside the Flatwater race to make a weekend of intense racing. Despite the waves not showing up for the start time the turns, beach runs and flow of tide into the beautiful Salcombe/KIngsbridge estuary still presents a technical challenge even in the absence of waves. Our race team and support boats have been working hard to deliver SUP The Creek to ensure we can host a race that is fun, safe and challenging to varying competency levels so that there is something for everyone. The Tech Race consists of 3 Laps at just over 7km with a beach Start, buoy turns, surf elements and beach runs, its a great one to take part in or even just watching, make it a weekend to remember in Devon.
Remember, there is also the Flatwater race on Saturday at the other end of the estuary to make a fun weekend of racing.
